How does it work?
Byblo is where every object finds someone who deserves its story. A marketplace of meaning, made for rare objects and the people who love them.

Shipping
Sending objects
Seller and buyer arrange shipping together through Byblo messaging. Here are our recommendations for a worry-free shipment.
Pack with care
Use bubble wrap and a sturdy, well-fitted box. For fragile objects, double up the protection. Careful packaging is part of the Byblo experience.
Choose your carrier
Colissimo (La Poste) for France, with optional insurance up to €5,000. Mondial Relay is cheaper but its insurance is capped at €500 — avoid it for valuable objects. For Europe and the rest of the world, or for precious items, Chronopost, DHL or UPS offer better coverage.
Insure the object
For valuable objects, declare the real value when shipping. Most carriers offer additional insurance. Photograph the object once packed, before sending it.
Frequently asked questions
Your questions
Does Byblo take a commission?
Byblo charges a tiered commission: 10% on the portion up to €500, then 5% on the portion above. For example, for an object sold for €800, the commission is €65 (€50 on the first €500 + €15 on the remaining €300). The rest is paid directly to your bank account.
How does payment work?
Payments are 100% secure via Stripe. The buyer pays online by card, and the amount is held by Byblo during delivery: the seller is paid (after the tiered commission) only once the buyer confirms they received the object, or automatically 14 days after shipment if no issue was reported. To receive payments, sellers must activate their Stripe account from their dashboard.
Is my payment protected if the object doesn't arrive?
Yes. Your money stays safely held by Byblo until you confirm you've received your object. If there's an issue (object not received, damaged, or different from the listing), you can report the problem directly from your "My purchases" page, with photos as evidence — the payout to the seller is then suspended while our team reviews the situation.
Can I sell objects in any language?
Yes. You write your listing in the language of your choice, and Byblo automatically translates it into French, English, Spanish, German and Italian.
How long does it take for my listing to be published?
Our team reviews every listing within 24 to 48 hours. You'll receive an email notification once it's approved.
What happens if my listing is rejected?
You'll receive an explanatory note and can edit your listing and resubmit it.
How do I arrange shipping?
Seller and buyer agree on shipping through Byblo messaging. The seller enters the tracking number from their dashboard, which starts the countdown before the automatic payout. Photograph the object before shipping in case of a dispute.
